Kickball, Llama, Mesopotamia
It's been a while since my last entry. I need to get on the ball. Well, I somehow managed
to make it out of that Psych of Women class alive. Wow that was a horrible class. Actually,
the material was VERY interesting, but the professor was a joke. Anyway, I'm still waiting
to see my grade. I want an A so bad. I worked my ass off in the class and if I don't get an
A I will be so disappointed.
That aside, the day after my final I left for Biloxi with my parents. I hadn't been in over a
year so I was really looking forward to it. The 8 hour trip there was actually pretty fun.
The night before we left I went to Best Buy to pick up some comedy CDs. We've listened
to all of ours to death and wanted new stuff. I got Alonzo Bodden, Jon Heffron, and
another Jim Gaffigan. We also listened to both Mitch CDs, Eddie Grizzard, Jim Gaffigan's first
CD, and Jeff Foxworthy. Lots of laughing. I even got my parents to play that "I'm going to
the store and I'm going to buy..." game. Hm... I wonder if I can remember it all...
Apple, banana, chameleon, door stop, ecosystem, fudgesicle, guard rail, Honda, inuit,
jackhammer, kickball, llama, Mesopotamia, noodle, orphan, porpoise (sp?), Quasimodo,
riding mower, stapler... and then it gets fuzzy...
So we got there around 3pm. My parents played that night while I hung out in the room
and watched movies. The next day mom and I had our traditional day of shopping. I got an
old Weezer CD, the Phantom Planet Chicago DVD (finally), and lots of pretty clothes. I
even found a jean jacket! I've been looking for one that looks decent on me for the longest
time. Thank you Old Navy.
We had reservations to eat at a fancy little restaurant called Farraday's that night. Aw
man, they have the best bread ever. lol. The next day mom and I headed down to the spa
for some R&R. We both had massage appointments and then hung around the spa for a
while after that. I had this monster knot in my back that Venita worked on for like 15
minutes. lol. Then it was hot tub and sauna fun. *Loves the Beau Rivage spa*
That night we ordered room service and just hung around watchin in-room movies. I love
Biloxi. I wish I could go more often. My parents go like every 2 months (crazy gambling
addicts). Thank God we don't live near Vegas or I would never see my family. They go
there enough, too. lol.
We put Dean in charge of our cats while we were away. Silver is such a ho. She will NOT
leave Dean alone! Any time he is in the house, she HAS to be on his lap. It's just too
funny. Anyway, Dean was nice enough to actually stay at my house for a bit and play with
my kitties so they wouldn't be lonely. *Loves him*
We got back in town Monday night. Mom and I had to get up early the next morning and go
to a funeral. It was for my aunt's mother. She's my blood uncle's wife's mother, so we
didn't know her at all. But a lot of people from my uncle's side of the family showed up for
my aunt. This paragraph is kinda confusing. I just wanted to clear up that my aunt's
mother was not my grandmother. Ya it's getting more confusing.
So mom and I needed to go to the tanning bed because we haven't been in over a week.
Well our monthly package at our regular place expired so we were going to check out a
couple other places to see if we liked them better. There's a place right by our house, like
1 block away, so we thought we would try that first. Aw man, it is just the best EVER. lol.
We meant to try a bunch of other places before deciding, but walked out with a package
at this place, haha. I've been at TanUSA for over 3 years and never tried any other place.
Too bad... This place is cheaper and 1 freakin' block away!
I know that no one cares about me tanning, but we are just too excited. lol.
Alright well I need to get a shower and get something to eat. Mom, grandmother, and I are
going to the movies later. We always go to chick flicks together, hehe. I believe we are
seeing The Perfect Man today. I have such a crush on Hilary Duff. She is the cutest
thing I've ever seen.
